President Advises: Use Funds Before FY Ends
Mobile Concepts by Scotty president and CEO, Anne
Degre, urges small business specialists to use remaining
funds to purchase a vehicle for emergency preparedness and
disaster relief.
"I've read that the influx of stimulus funds has made
spending the remaining funds before the end of the fiscal
year harder for procurement officers. We're here to make
that process a little easier," stated Degre.
What can Mobile Concepts provide you with-- mobile
command centers, portable bunk and bathhouses, SCOTTY Fire
Safety House? We can design and manufacture any specialty
vehicle. Recent projects include multiple units for the U.S.
Army and the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

In addition, the General Services Administration (GSA)
said it is seeing more activity on its multiple award
schedules contracts. Total fiscal 2009 spending on the
contract topped $28 billion in June, up 4 percent from the
same time last year, said Steve Kempf, assistant
commissioner for acquisition management at GSA's Federal
Acquisition Service.
"We have the ability to modify our GSA schedule to
accommodate the many different needs of these agencies and
departments," explained Degre. Mobile Concepts
holds multiple contracts on the VMAS schedule:
GS- 07F- 0456T for fire safety, blood alcohol testing
and community policing vehicles, as well as
GS-30F-0012T for police or fire command vehicles.
