The 4-large lexan windows allow the participants to view this dramatic demonstration from the outside.  The walls of the Activation Room are wrapped in diamond tread plate.  A galvanized steel heat shield covers the ceiling and front wall.  This shield helps direct the heat of the fire to the sprinkler head.  The trough style drain system and sloped floor allows for easy water drainage.  All materials in this area were selected for longevity and easy clean-up for personnel.

The Sprinkler system includes a  hp pump, PEX & copper piping, water tank and 135 degree sprinkler head.  An exterior easy-fill garden hose connector is provided.

The rest of the vehicle is designed with the features of the SCOTTY Fire Safety House in mind: a kitchen, bedroom, heated door, escape window and ladder, non-toxic smoke system, 9-1-1 phone system, hard-wired smoke detectors, control room plus many more safety features.

The Life-Safety Sprinkler House is smallest sprinkler trailer and is designed on a 31-foot length frame.  The classroom seating area is an ideal space for having discussion groups before or after the live-fire demonstration.
