The primary purpose of the mobile police substation is that of a high-tech paddy wagon where an occasional beefed up police presence is
necessary. This vehicle can be dispatched to areas of the city or
community where a permanent substation may not be necessary.
These vehicles can be designed as a towable trailer from 16 to 39
feet, a 53 foot length tractor trailer or on a motorized chassis in
your choice of sizes.
Due to the transient nature of criminal activity, that is, criminals
from one neighborhood moving to another neighborhood, you can go to
where the crime is with a mobile police substation. The mobile
substation can be deployed to areas of high crime, drug dealing and
disorder. It will provide a curbside police station on the front
door of these activities. Depending on the identified problem,
officers manning the substation can perform enforcement, gather
intelligence, meet with community residents to establish and
solidify positive relationships and serve as a base of operations
for other officers in that particular zone. Criminal activity will
be disrupted, and the displacement of crime and disorder will be
addressed through the transportation ability of this mobile police
substation.
