Technical Assistance Response Unit

The New York Police Department NYPD drop shipped us a Freightliner Sprinter cargo van to be upfitted as a Technical Assistance Response Unit (TARU).

Mobile Concepts installed all necessary surveillance and technical equipment needed for on-scene investigations, which include computer forensics and tactical support.

The TARU features two workstations with necessary wiring ports, electronics equipment rack, cameras, emergency lighting and sirens. The rear compartment is outfitted with an 8-kilowatt generator, battery system and custom aluminum shelves for equipment storage.
