For this week’s unit spotlight, we would like to showcase two newly-upfitted Prisoner Transit vans made for Sirchie and their clients at the Columbia Police Department in SC. Both vans feature Prisoner Transport Inserts manufactured by Havis, Inc, and allow for the transportation of up to 10 inmates per van. Each seat is equipped with 4″ slip-resistant tape, seatbelts, seat dividers, and grab straps. The insert itself is made with easy-to-clean white powder-coated 3003 aluminum and includes a divider wall, one side-entry door, two swing-out doors, and a rear-entry step.
