Important FY2025 AFG Program Announcement

As of today at 9:00 (EST), the FY2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG), Staffing for Adequate Fire Emergency Response (SAFER), and Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) application periods are open. The deadline to apply is Monday, June 22 at 5 P.M. (EST); late submissions will not be accepted.

In total, the DHS has set aside $648 million to help firefighters and first responders nationwide. $291.6 million will be awarded through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant; $324 million will be awarded through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant; and $32.4 million will be awarded through the Fire Prevention and Safety Grant.

If you want to apply to get a unit from us, our eligible vehicles include Fire Prevention units, Mobile Command/Communications vehicles, HAZMAT units, Rehab units, and Non-transport EMS (Community paramedic/healthcare).
