Not too long ago, our customers at the Peterson Space Force Base (formerly known as the Peterson Air Force Base) in CO received their new DECON 24-3L trailer. Their unit is divided into three sections: two decontamination rooms with a total of three lanes, and one maintenance room. The decontamination lanes are equipped with one roller system conveyor, three shower heads with removable, hand-held sprayers, yellow shower curtain partitioning, three roof vents, and sloped grid flooring. As for the maintenance room, it contains one Onan LP 5,500 generator, a water heater, three gravity-fed soap dispensers, one 50′ hose, a one gallon compressor, two sump pumps, and a 1,000 gallon waste bladder.

Other features include:

  • Two 40 lb propane tanks with high capacity regulator
  • One 50-amp Marinco shoreline
  • Two exterior GFI outlets
  • One 30,000 BTU LP furnace
  • Manual leveling jacks
  • Four exterior FRC surface-mount scene lights
  • One surge protector
  • One spare 15-inch aluminum wheel located on trailer’s rear wall
