As of now, the Fire & Rescue Services of Innisfil, ON is getting ready to bring home their new 39Bleacher. After bringing it across the US-Canada border, they’ll use it to teach the children and adults of their community about fire prevention & fire safety. Their unit features two stages (kitchen & bedroom), one control room for appliance effects, and bleacher-styled seating for up to 15-20 people. It’s equipped with one safety stove, one multimedia cabinet with a built-in smoking fireplace and speakers, one 32″ TV, one 36″ heated door, a wireless smoke machine with remote and water-based fluid, two smoke detectors, and a wheelchair ramp.

Other features include:

  • One emergency sliding window w/emergency escape ladder
  • One refrigerator & microwave
  • Three roof vents
  • One heat pump
  • Two electric ceiling heaters w/single zone thermostat
  • A 12v cutoff switch in the control room
  • Four 24×36″ windows
  • Two awnings (8×16″ and 8×8″)
