Jackson Heights, NY is Mobilizing Mental Health Awareness

We recently delivered a sprinter van to Voces Latinas in Jackson Heights, NY! It will be used to provide a safe space where members of the Jackson Heights community can talk about their mental health. With this program, Voces Latinas plan to help reduce the negative stigma surrounding open discussions on mental health. In order to help them do that, this unit can be divided into three separate rooms completed by using divider walls. Each room has a task chair, countertop, and a cushioned patient bench.
Other features include:
- Two electric wall heaters; one in each room
- Onan 7.5 KW generator built in and plumbed to fuel system with ATS and remote start
- Rear step bumper w/convenience step allowing entry through the back of the van
- Battery charger and 50 AMP shore line
- Backup camera
