Johnstown PD’s Spec Ops Unit gets new multipurpose Sprinter Van

Last week, we completed a Command 2WS for the Johnstown Police Department’s Special Operations Unit in Johnstown, PA! It will be used to assist in crime scene investigations, act as a DUI testing site, and serve as a mobile command center for the officers. To help them do this, there are two workstations, a fold-up counter, two 19″ monitors, one 26″ monitor, two 50″ storage cabinets, a Cradle point router and antenna, shelving in the rear compartment above the generator, and more!
Other features include:
- An Onan 8kw generator w/ATS and remote start
- A side door assist handle
- A 13′ by 9″ awning above the sliding door
- Six exterior scene lights
- Six Whelen emergency lights
- Two visor red/blue lights, and two red/blue lights located in the grill
- Custom graphics
